GO is a community-curated open studio project: #gobrooklynart
THIS WEEKEND artists across Brooklyn are opening their studios doors, so that you can decide who will be featured in an exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum
Voter registration is now open!
How GO Works
In short…
Register online to visit artist studios. Voter registration opens on July 17, and runs through the GO open studio weekend, September 8–9, 2012, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
During the open studio weekend, you’ll visit studios and check in using text messaging, the GO mobile app, or the GO mobile website by entering a unique number identifying each studio. If you don’t have a phone, you can write this number down and enter it later on the website.
After you’ve checked in to at least five studios, you’ll be eligible to nominate three artists from your visits for inclusion in an exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum.
The ten artists with the most voter nominations will receive visits from Brooklyn Museum curators to select work for the exhibition, opening on Target First Saturday on December 1, 2012.
