There is not much that need be said about the power of V-Ray. That is, if you are already familiar with the 3D animation pipeline. But for those that just appreciate the magic that digital effects artists create, you may not be very aware of what V-Ray does. After an animation is modeled in a wire frame format it then has to have materials and lighting added to the scene. Once that is done, a frame can be rendered. Think of it sorta like a picture being developed (well, how they used to be developed when we still used film). V-Ray is an add on program that enhances the final image, giving you those brilliant visuals that you see in those awesome movies and video games. This, of course is a very short explanation for a very intense process. This is by no means an Instagram for video and SpecialFX, but I’m sure you’ll get the idea by watching the video!
